Forgetting the Taste of Oxygen

Now that I’m better, I’m buried deep in all the stuff I’ve had due since my birthday. Fun! An interview, an introduction, a book to agent, a YA novel to finish, and a big fat copyedit. I’ll come up for air soon.Soon. Ha.

“Soon” can be a torturously long time.

In honor of the last thing on my list, give me the most flowery, terrible sentence that you could ever imagine writing. Come on. I know you can do it. Impress me!!

The smell of unwashed bodies filled the great hall but it was nothing compared to the stench of the man that approached her. It was the smell of old meat rotting and like a dirty diaper. THIS was the man she was expected her to marry? He was so old that half of his teeth were falling out and the other half were nearly rotted through. He drooled too but that could be because he was thinking about running his filthy hands with their crusty nails over her pale slender body, or so the lecherous look on his face indicated. She knew her mother's new husband did not like her but she had not realized the true depths of his hatred.

(sorry more than a sentence but I got a bit carried away)
